I AM A GERMAN PHOTOGRAPHER NOW LIVING IN IBIZA.

My interest in photography started at a young age. When I was just 13 I bought myself an SLR camera and had my first photographic experiences experimenting with light and contrast.

When I started my training in electrical engineering, I laid my camera aside and devoted my time to studying computer science.

In 2005 I discovered the island of Ibiza. It's diverse landscapes and eclectic mix of people rekindled my long forgotten love of photography. My distant recollections and experience of analogue photography were transformed with the modern, digital techniques, while still capturing the charm of film photography. After much experimentation with digital image processing, I now focus on the development of images on my computer. Simulating the old techniques of analogue image processing.

In 2012 I started working as a professional photographer, with commercial shoots for fashion companies, DJ's and dancers in Ibiza.

In 2013 I built a photography studio in the centre of Heidelberg, Germany. Where I worked on photographic art projects.

In 2015 I developed a photographic technique (Knotenpunkttechnik) which enabled me to produce very high resolution pictures.
